This is an early morning, - the time of day where I find so much of my inspiration. The time before sunrise is referred to as ‘The Blue Hour’. Here the sun is breaking into the blue hour on a cloudy morning. I was struck by the beauty of this cloud formation and the white light illuminating the clouds to the right.
This painting is 12 x 24 inches on a 1.5 inch deep cradled panel.
